BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition Launched At INR 42.5 Lakh

BMW India has launched the new BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition in India at INR 42.5 lakh. The new sedan is based on BMW's Gran Tourismo luxury tourer and has been manufactured at BMW’s manufacturing unit in Chennai. The new sedan is priced at INR 42.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and is only offered in the petrol 330i variant with the M-Sport design.

The BMW 3-Series Turismo Shadow Edition is offered with four colour options.

The BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition is available with four colour options including Estoril Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red Metallic and Alpine White along with multiple seat coverings colour options consisting of Sensatec Black with Red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige. As regards the exterior design, the new sedan comes with a nine-slat kidney grille in high-gloss black, dark components in the LED headlamps and tail lamps, 18-inch star-spoke alloy rims in jet black and black-chrome exhaust tailpipe. The alterations are only limited to the dark tones, which makes the car become more appealing.

Stepping inside the BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition’s cabin, you will realize a familiar design with some distinctive components such as a M sports leather steering wheel, chrome edging of air vents, aluminium door sill plates, key with M logo and ambient lighting. In terms of the interior features, the car gets the BMW Connected Drive featuring BMW iDrive 22.3-cm display, BMW Apps, touch functionality based BMW Navigation System Professional with 3D maps, Apple CarPlay, Rear View Camera, etc. The safety features on offer include six airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control, Dynamic Stability Control and a crash sensor.

The 2.0-litre gasoline burner helps the new sedan accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in only 6.3 seconds.

The BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition will receive its power from a 2.0-litre 4-cyl gasoline burner which can generate 252 HP against 350 Nm and is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport AT unit with steering wheel paddle shifters. The sedan can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in only 6.1 seconds.
