This engine still comes connected with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard gearbox option. As before, the MG Hector continues to be offered in four major trims including Style, Super, Smart and Sharp.
In the coming months, MG will bring on the three-row version of the Hector, named the Hector Plus in the domestic space. MG showcased the Hector Plus at the Auto Expo 2020, alongside a barrage of new vehicles like a full-sized SUV MG Gloster, the MG RC-6 executive sedan and a premium MPV.
Though the launch of MG Hector Plus and MG Gloster are lined up for this year, the ongoing global pandemic might or might not push the launch timeline of these SUVs to a later date.
