In order to draw the customers and maintain the demand for the BSVI Mahindra XUV500, Mahindra has decided to offer attractive discounts and benefits which can add up to Rs 50,000. The detailed discount scheme includes a cash discount of up to Rs 13,000, exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefit worth of Rs 9,000.
The new Mahindra XUV500 does not receive major updates except for the required BSVI modifications. However, given that the Mahindra XUV500 was already a fully-equipped vehicle, the lack of comprehensive updates will not concern anyone.

The focal point of the recent upgrade is the new powertrain offerings. Mahindra has made changes to the old 2.0-litre petrol engine which previously powered the BSVI version. The updated engine is capable of making a top power of 155 PS and a maximum torque of 360 Nm. While the BSIV version was offered with both manual and automatic version, the BSVI-compliant model is available only with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
In the meanwhile, Mahindra XUV500 is developing an all-new Mahindra XUV500, which is expected to sport more extensive updates. A new 2.0-litre petrol engine with turbocharger and direct injection technology will be on offer. Moreover, besides the existing 6-speed manual gearbox, the new XUV500 will receive a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In addition, a new 2.2-litre diesel will also be available on the new XUV500.
At the moment, besides the Mahindra XUV500, Mahindra is also offering other attractive offers and discounts for Scorpio, KUV100, and XUV300. The exchange bonuses for these models are rated at Rs 35,000, Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000, respectively. While the Mahindra Scorpio and KUV100 are offered with the same cash benefit of Rs 65,000, the XUV300 is available with a better cash discount of Rs 70,000. The biggest discounts Mahindra offers this time is for the flagship Mahindra Alturas. The total discount on the Alturas can go up to Rs 3 lakh with Rs 2.5 cash discount and Rs 50,000 exchange offer.
