The new variants that the carmaker has planned to introduce will be placed between the existing variants. The new XT+ trim, which is the manual trim of the car, will be positioned between XT and XZ variants and similarly, the XTA trim, which is an automatic variant, will be placed between XMA and XZA. These new variants will also be getting all the features from XT variant along with some added features from the top-spec variant. The new 2020 Harrier comes with features like a big panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat, auto-dimming IRVM, a new set of alloy wheels and resized side mirrors. One of the significant features that was missing from the SUV until the updated model was introduced was the automatic gearbox. With the 2020 update, however, the carmaker added a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox coupled to the same old 2.0-litre Kryotec mill. The engine is now a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre Fiat-sourced turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 170 PS of peak power and 350 Nm of twisting force. The updated oil burner now produces 30 PS more power compared to the BS4 trim. The mid-size SUV is retailed at a starting price of Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
