Here's a quick walkaround video of the top-end trim of 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift in a striking shade of red.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country's second-largest car manufacturer, has launched the Aura and Creta this year. Not just this, the carmaker has also updated the Nios with a Turbo variant. Soon, we will get the Tucson facelift as well but not before introducing the Verna facelift. The refreshed car has already started reaching the dealerships. Prices of the updated sedan will reportedly start at Rs 9.3 lakh, which will make the new version Rs 1.13 lakh costlier than the outgoing version.

Initially, March 26 was locked as the date for the car’s launch, but with the ongoing 21-day lockdown in the country, we expect the car to officially go on sale in late April now. In case you're wondering how the car looks like, the walkaround video we have here details the top-end trim.

The video is uploaded by AutoTrend TV on YouTube. The video shows all the details about the car’s exterior and interior from every angle. From outside, the car looks much sharper now than the car it will replace. It features a wide cascading grille on the front, flanked by up-swept headlamp units. The grille is now finished in dark chrome, which gives it some understated elegance. Lower down the front bumper, the car gets a stylish chrome strip to break the visual bulk. The foglamp housings are also revised and boast a cleaner design.

The only change on the sides of the car is the new design for the diamond-cut alloy wheels as rest everything remains identical to the outgoing model. The rear facet, however,  has been tweaked to a fair extent. It gets a redesigned bumper along with a revised design for the tail lamps. On the inside, the Verna gets a new HD touchscreen unit for the infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Even the aircon vents are new.

The most powerful of the lot will be a 1.0L 3-pot turbo-petrol motor whipping out 120 PS. It will be offered with a 7-speed DCT only. Once launched, Verna will take on the likes of Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento, and upcoming new-gen Honda City.
