The Citroen C5 AirCross has been spotted testing prior to its launch next year. Once launched in the Indian auto market, the SUV will compete with the Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V and Jeep Compass.

Groupe PSA was ready to come to the Indian auto market with the Citroen C5 Aircross this year. However, the French automaker has decided to defer the launch of the SUV until early 2021. Recently, however, two test mules have been spied testing in Tamil Nadu, with the latest sighting disclosing some important information about the India-bound model. Two spotted test mules are probably India-spec models since the trial assembly of several C5 Aircross units has been commenced at CK Birla’s facility in Tamil Nadu. Until now, only CBU versions of the SUV were spied testing on Indian roads. The C5 Aircross, however, will come to India as a CKD unit.
