DC Modified Maruti Swift Put On Sale

DC Design is one of the most renowned car modification houses in the country. It was also the manufacturer of the only Indian sports car – Avanti. The design house is highly loved for its expertise in revamping a car’s interior. Modifying a vehicle's interior is what the design house is best known for as most of their exterior jobs are just grotesque to look at. However, we came across one DC modified Maruti Swift car which isn’t bizarre at all. What's even better is that Maruti Swift is on sale.

The front fascia has been modified with a new bumper and grille while the headlamps are stock units.

The car in the pictures is the second-generation Swift and wears a shade of black with red highlight all around. The front-end on this Swift is neatly redesigned with a new bumper that gets a red strip running across the width of the car. Also, it gets LED DRLs, which are not all that fancy as the bumper itself. On the sides, the only change is the addition of red side skirts, we sincerely wish it was shod with a set of deep-dish alloy wheels. The rear facet gets an addition of a spoiler and a revised bumper with twin exhaust pipes.

The interior of the car is spruced up with red highlights as well. The top half of the dashboard is finished in a shade of black while the lower half is finished in white colour. All of it looks quite funky but neatly done nonetheless. It is a diesel variant of the car and features no changes to the drivetrain or the powertrain. It uses the stock 1.3L Fiat-sourced 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that belts out 74 horsepower and 190 Nm as its peak output. The transmission duties on this engine are performed by a 5-speed stick shift unit.

Asking price for this DC modified car is Rs. 5.11 lakh. This customized Maruti Swift is currently located in Chhattisgarh and is a 2014 make. According to the car’s owner, the price is not negotiable and the car is in its pristine condition with no dents or scratches on the body, what so ever.
