Check out the luxurious Toyota Innova Crysta modified by Dilip Chabbria for Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

DC2, Dilip Chabbria’s rebranded DC Design, is making a serious comeback with their new customised cars. From Mahindra Thar to Tata Winger, the company’s portfolio is as diverse as it is impressive. Celebrities, who prefer to drive or be driven around in style, often approach Mr. Chabbria for his expertise. Recently, Madhuri Dixit-Nene also got her Toyota Innova Crysta customised by DC2.

DC Design was famous for its luxurious interiors, and DC2 only seems to have improved on it. The modified Toyota Innova Crysta has a completely redesigned cabin. There are wood inserts everywhere, including dashboard, door panels, behind the seats, and even in the centre console (front and well as rear). The rear passenger seats are electrically adjustable and feature footrests for comfy ergonomics. Other than that, both the rear passengers get in-car entertainment, with two TV screens (one for each) and a touchscreen infotainment unit in the rear centre console. Of course, there are plenty of cubby holes and compartments for storing knick-knacks.

The second-row seats feature the most luxury

The ceiling of the car has a brilliant feature. It gets light-studded headliners, just like in a Rolls-Royce. In the dark, this gives the cabin a feeling of a starry night. Other than that, there is ambient lighting in the cabin, which is quite common for DC modified cars. The car is a six-seater instead of a seven-seater like the stock car, with captain seats for the first and second rows, and bench seats for the third one. We doubt the last row would be used much though, as celebrities usually tend to commute alone in their cars.

The entire cabin feels extremely premium

The mechanicals of the car seem to be unchanged. The Toyota Innova Crysta is available with two engine options. The first one is a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel mill and the second is a 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor. The former produces 149 PS and 343 Nm, while the latter produces 165 PS and 245 Nm (max power and peak torque, respectively, for both). The current price of the Innova Crysta ranges from Rs. 15.36 to 23.02 lakh, although these prices will undergo constant revision in the near future.
