On the inside, the Porsche 911 has been intensively revised. It now gets a new multi-function steering wheels, instrument cluster with a new tachometer, and a new 10.9-inch touchscreen that features Porsche Communication Management (PCM). Mechanically, the new Porsche 911 is underpinned by a new platform built with more aluminium on the rear side structure, contributing to improved weight distribution. The same platform will be seen on the 718 Cayman and Boxter. For the first time, the Carrera S will come with a rear-wheel drive system that helps to significantly improve the agility and stability of the car. Moreover, Porsche will get drive selector conveniently mounted on the steering wheel that resembles the Manettino unit on the Ferraris.

The 992 Series Porsche 911 is powered by a revised version of the 3-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is tuned for higher output of 444 bhp and 530 Nm. Moreover, this engine will also get a new intake and exhaust system. To cut down the emission, a new particulate filter will be equipped on the engine. A new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox will take the transmission duty. With the new engineering setting, the 911 can crack the 0-100 sprint in just 3.7 seconds while the top speed has been rated at 308kmph. Porsche 911 will continue to rival other supercars such as Mercedes AMG GT and the Audi R8.
