According to the latest report from Autocar India, the 2020 Maruti WagonR EV will be compatible with DC (Direct Current) fast charging in addition to the conventional AC (Alternating Current) charging support to boost up the convenient usability and flexibility. This system could be very supportive for users by the capacity to charge nearly 80% of the total power input merely under an hour. The DC charging pad will be integrated at the rear of the cabin while the AC charging will be mounted at the front as normal. With the inclusion of the DC fast-charging system, the upcoming Maruti WagonR EV will definitely become a big successor among the fleet car owners who now have to take long to get their vehicle fully charged.

Apparently, the electric vehicle segment is currently the talk of the town that it is in all likelihood to get numerous benefits from government policies. To push the EV segment into the paradigm shift, the Indian government is going to offer up a rebate of up to RS 50,000, free parking charges and registration fees as well as attractively lower interest rates on electric vehicles. Indeed, there are a number of manufacturers holding various electric vehicles in their pipeline in the coming time. For instance, Tata Motors is planning on introducing the EV iterations of the Tigor and Tiago for the auto enthusiasts while Nissan or Hyundai and Mahindra are also expected to launch their brand new electric models in the market soon.
