Here are the first real-world images of the 2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition. The new SUV is being offered in two different trim levels.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recently launched the new Fortuner TRD in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 34.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings of the new SUV, which has a styling kit specially designed by the Toyota Racing Development for our market, have been initiated at all the Toyota dealerships across the country. Here’s the first set of real-world images of the 2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition. The special version of the Toyota Fortuner features two-tone exterior and interior and is loaded with a lot of new features. Mechanically, it derives power from a 2.8-litre, four-pot oil-burner that produces 177 PS of peak power and 450 Nm of maximum torque.

The transmission duties are done by a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The limited-edition model of the car is offered in 4X2 AT and 4X4 AT trims. Both the trims of new Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition are around Rs 2.5 lakh more expensive than their standard version. Outside, the limited edition model gets TRD radiator grille garnish. Also, the front bumper of the SUV has been tweaked a bit.

There’s also a red-coloured TRD badge on the left side of the tailgate. Moreover, the addition of a dual-tone roof will surely attract a lot of potential buyers. The limited-edition Fortuner TRD also gets a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels along with electronically adjustable side mirrors with power folding. Inside, the SUV gets a two-tone dashboard. Furthermore, the black and maroon seats enhance the premium feel of the cabin. It also employs a 360-degree panoramic view monitor and illuminated scuff plates.

The automaker is offering a range of accessories with the new Fortuner TRD Limited Edition. The buyers get HUD (Head-Up Display), TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), digital video recorder, wireless smartphone charging pad, welcome door lamps and an air ionizer, which is a first from the automaker in India. It rivals the likes of Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4.
