Ford Aspire Titanium Blu will come with a sporty exterior styling package and an all-black interior colour theme
After the updated Figo's rollout in the market, Ford switches back to work on the Aspire by prepping its new Titanium Blu trim for a market launch. The brand new variant of the compact sedan is expected to sit well below the top-spec Titanium+ grade in the Aspire’s model range.
Ford India is gearing up for a new variant dubbed the Titanium Blu of the Aspire which will sit underneath the Titanium+ trim in the lineup.
Visually, the Ford Aspire Titanium Blu bears a resemblance with the Ford Figo Titanium Blu which has been launched recently alongside the Figo facelift. Besides, the sporty variant sports some attractive styling cues such as 15-inch black alloy wheels, black mirrors and a contrast black roof that spice up things on the outside of the model. The car also features a black-finished front grille and an all-black interior theme in the place of the dual-tone theme on other configurations.
The Aspire Titanium Blu is said to copy the look of the Figo Titanium Blu elder brother which has just been launched in the country.
However, in the creature-comforts stakes, the Aspire Titanium Blu seems to look inferior to the Titanium+ version. It is highly likely to come with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will not support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The standard safety kit will miss out on six airbags. The standard safety features for the new model include dual front airbags, ABS, speed-sensing door locks, ISOFIX child seat restraints and rear parking sensors.
Powering the Aspire Titanium Blu will be two engine options, namely the 96 hp 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine along with the 100 hp, 1.5-litre diesel motor unit. Both these engines will come connected with a 5-speed manual transmission each.
