Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition In Close Look - Walkaround Video

Ford India is all set to introduce the newest version of its best-selling sub-four-meter compact SUV – Ford EcoSport Thunder in a couple of days. This special edition is seen arriving at the dealership’s yard. A video featured the Ford EcoSport Thunder uploaded on Youtube has given us a glimpse of the new Ecosport variant.

Exteriorly, the Ford Ecosport Thunder bears some significant updates compared with the regular version. At first glance, it is easy to notice how the Ford EcoSport Thunder feature the black-white dual-tone colour scheme. It also gets black decals on the front hood. Other than that, the black accent is also applied around the headlamps cluster, fog lamps bezels, the 17-inch alloy wheels and the ORVMs, creating a muscular and sporty look for this new model. The black element is also featured on the rear side design, on the faux exhaust pipe and the spare wheel cover. Even the badging of the Ford EcoSport is painted black too.

The interior of the Ford EcoSport Thunder gets the brown application on the seat cover or the dashboard, the door panel and the armrest. Besides, it will get the FlyAudio infotainment system with 9.0-inch touchscreen and sunroof.

Despite the extensive cosmetic updates, the mechanical parts are kept unchanged. It will continue to feature two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The petrol range includes the 1.5-litre natural aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine. These engines are good for 123 PS/150 Nm and 125 PS/170 Nm, respectively. The only diesel engine available is the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 100 PS and 205 Nm.

Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition will get extensive cosmetic updates

Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition will be launched next month. It will be introduced as the replacement for the Titanium Signature variant. After the new version of the compact SUV is out, Ford will move toward the new all-electric Aspire which is developed in cooperation with Mahindra. Along with the debut of Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition, Ford will also do a price revision for the entire range, which is supposed to give this model some bonus in the competition with competitive rivals like Mahindra XUV300 and Hyundai Venue.
