Ford has revealed special edition Raptor exclusively for the European markets. The new model gets minor styling enhancements on the outside and inside.
American automaker giant Ford is making good benefits from the wide range of pickup trucks they offer in the American market, and the sales of its SUV and crossover have been quite impressive from the past few months. The carmaker has recently revealed a special edition model of one of the Raptor, which has been among the most popularly known pickups from the company. The special edition is exclusively limited to the European markets, and its production will be limited to just 4,500 units. The limited-edition Ford Raptor Thunder has a starting price of £32,965 and is available for reservation. The new model features subtle cosmetic exterior and interior changes and is based on the Wildtrak-based double cab trim.

Outside, the Ford Raptor Thunder gets Thunder badges, Ranger name badging on the tailgate in matte black colour, Grey body colour with some contrasting red accents. It also features blacked-out radiator grille upfront, Ebony black highlights surrounding the fog lamp housing, 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels along with skid plate and rear bumper which enhances the aggressive quotient of the pickup truck. A few other highlights include LED headlights with blacked out bezels and integrated LED DRLs and dark tail lamps. The special edition Raptor can also get Mountain Top powder-coated roller shutter with bedliner divider as an optional fitment. The carmaker has also made a few changes inside the cabin of the pickup truck to differentiate it from the regular model.
The new special edition model is only limited to 4,500 units
Inside, the cabin employs full Ebony leather seats, red stitching on seats, steering wheel, door panels and instrument cluster. Moreover, the sill plates illuminate in red colour. Mechanically, the pickup truck continues to derive power from the same 2.0-litre EcoBlue bi-turbo four-pot oil burner which puts out 213 PS of power and 500 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are done by a 10-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all four wheels. Last calendar year, Ford managed to retail 52,000 units of Raptor in America. The deliveries of the new special edition Ford Raptor will commence by the end of this year.
