The Pininfarina Battista globally debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, its sales will commence later this year and it will take on the likes of the Bugatti Chiron. Let’s have a closer look at this super electric vehicle.

The most noteworthy things when mentioning the Pininfarina Battista is its mind-blowing performance. The super EV borrows the T-Shaped 120 kW battery package from the Rimac’s C Two. Located under the seats, the electric motor can deliver a maximum power of 1874 bhp against a peak torque of 2300 Nm. The power is spread to the four wheels of the vehicle. The Battista’s 0-100 kmph acceleration time is only 12 seconds while that for 0-300 kmph is just 12 seconds.

The Battista can reach a maximum speed of 350 kmph, which is exceeded by the Rimac C_Two with over 415 kmph. The maximum speed of the vehicle can be increased by the auto manufacturer at a later time. The Battista has a travel range of up to 450 km per charge. A fast charging option has also been offered with the super EV.

The body of the Battista has also been designed to reduce the resistance as aerodynamic plays an important role in the stunning performance of Battista. It has an elegant design with some outstanding features such as LED headlamps in the front and 21-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, which have been particularly developed for the Battista, on the side profile. In the rear, LED taillights, a pop-up spoiler, and a charging pop behind the tail lamp are equipped on the high-performance EV. It would be no exaggeration to say that this car is the result of perfect cooperation between world-leading designers and engineers who have brought it a contemporary design and an unparalleled performance.

The total weight of the hypercar is only 200 kgs as carbon fibre is comprehensively used as its main material and most of its components are also lightweight, too. The interior is equipped with a wide range of advanced features with the most outstanding ones being the three different screens, each of which fulfils a different function.

Numerous custom options are being offered by the Italian car designer. The high-performance EV’s production is limited to only 150 units with an introductory price of $2.5 million. Pininfarina has also collaborated with several companies to properly operate dealerships across the world. The Battista is expected to start going on sale later this year.
