Maruti Swift is one of the easiest vehicles to customise in India. Check out one such example, with lowered suspension and stylish alloys wheels!

Maruti Suzuki Swift is not only one of the most popular cars in India of all time, but also one of the easiest to modify. There is plenty of aftermarket support for the car, for the older as well as the newer generations. Here we have one example of a lowered Maruti Swift with sporty wheels and decals.

Modified Maruti Suzuki Swift with Cobra Suspension lowering springs

The Maruti Suzuki Swift in the image above has been lowered by AM Racing. The car features lowering springs by Cobra suspension, linear springs in the front and progressive springs in the rear. To improve comfort as compared to a regular lowered car, the rear springs are dual-rate. According to AM Racing, the suspension mod improves steering feedback and response, while also reducing body roll and sharpening directional changes. The car also sports fatter tyres and larger wheels 215/45 on 17-inch alloys!

There are plenty of visual changes to the car as well, but these cosmetic mods aren’t performed by the folks at AM Racing. Starting at the front, the car has a camouflage pattern drawn on it, stretching up to a little behind the front wheel arch. The pattern contrasts well with the red body-paint of the car. On the sides, we see deep dish alloys with multi-spoke design. The low profile rubber and the minimised gap between the tyres and the wheel arches lend the car a brilliant stance. At the rear, there is a sweet-looking, black-coloured, roof-mounted spoiler. The taillights have also been blacked-out, to add a sporty touch. Overall, the car looks track-worthy!

We’re not sure of the engine upgrades, if the car has got any. As for the stock Maruti Swift, it comes powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, inline-4 petrol engine, which produces 83 PS and 113 Nm of maximum power and peak torque, respectively. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
