The front-end of the 7-seater Hyundai Creta will feature an updated grille, while the bumper will carry front parking sensors, a feature that's unavailable on the regular version. The side profile is where we'll have the biggest discrepancies between the two models. The bigger version will feature slimmer C-pillars, while the DLO will be bigger courtesy the large quarter glass. The car will feature a flat roofline and a different set of roof rails. Even the beltline will be different.

The rear-end of the Creta XL will have a set of bigger taillamps, while even the tailgate will be different. Moreover, unlike the 5-seater version, which has its LED brake light incorporated into the tailgate, the bigger version will have the stop lamp housed in the roof spoler. Other than this, the new version could even have a bigger faux skid plate. While the wheelbase of both the models will remain unchanged, the 7-seater model will have a larger rear overhang.

The powertrain option will stay unchanged, which means the new model will be available with 115 PS 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units that will come mated to 6-speed manual transmission each. While the petrol version will have an optional CVT, the diesel model will be optionally available with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic unit.

The motor will churn out 140PS of maximum power.  The XL-sized Creta will likely cost more than a lakh rupees more than the smaller iteration.
