Honda CR-V was given the generation updates in October last year. The all-new CR-V comes with a load of interesting and advanced technologies. Here are the details of its hi-tech features.

The recent updates have brought in to the table whole new staples for the Honda CR-V’s customers. It could be considered a step-up for the Japanese carmaker. Besides the highly-welcomed new diesel engine option, the car is now available with more upmarket technologies, allowing it to compete more strongly with other cars of its class.

The CR-V is now packed with features that rarely appears on the same-class vehicles but the cars from higher segments. One notable feature of the new CR-V is the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system coupled with Apple Carplay and Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity. Even though this unit could be considered a decent offer for its class, it still misses out on built-in navigation function which is also a popular and essential techs for cars these days.

Honda CR-V is equipped with a long list of comfort and convenience features 

On the comfort front, Honda has adopted the electric adjustable seats on the front row. Plus, telescopic adjustable steering wheel will even add more comfort to the driving experience. The interior cabin applies premium touches like wood finish. Auto-dimming inside rearview mirror and Honda Lane Watch blind spot monitoring system are equipped to booster the look and the experience as well.

In terms of safety, it comes with full kit of six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchor, vehicle stability assist, driver attention monitoring system, and hill-start assist. Moreover, Honda CR-V has gained the full star score on the ASEAN NCAP crash test.

Honda CR-V is available with two engine options, namely, 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. Both are coupled with a CVT gearbox. No manual transmission is available at the moment. The petrol engine is good for 152 bhp and 189 Nm. On the other hand, the petrol engine could deliver 118 bhp and 300 Nm.
