Honda Amaze Ace Edition Launched In India At INR 7.89 Lakh

The Honda Amaze has recorded great success with a sales number of 100,000 units. To commemorate this event, the Japanese auto manufacturer has decided to launch the Honda Amaze Ace Edition. The company also claims that the Amaze is the quickest Honda model to achieve such impressive success.

The Ace has been launched to commemorate the 1 lakh-unit-sold event of the Hond Amaze.

In terms of the exterior design, some of the outstanding features of the Honda Amaze Axe include black alloy wheels, a black trunk spoiler mounted on the boot lid, door visors, doors with trim bits and the Ace Edition badge on the boot lid. As regards the interior, the Ace comes with new upholsteries with footwell lighting and Ace Edition branding.

The Ace gets some unique exterior features to differientiate itself from the regular variants.

The vehicle keeps under its hood a Honda’s 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel motors. Both of the two engines are coupled with a 5-speed MT and CVT gearbox.

The Amaze Ace Edition is offered in three exterior paint schemes, White, Silver and Red. The vehicle is produced in only 840 units. The sedan is the second limited-edition model of Honda to be based on the top-spec Amaze. Previously, the Japanese automaker had launched Amaze Exclusive Edition.

The interior of the vehicle is also equipped with some unique features.

The automatic version of both the Honda Amaze petrol and diesel is in great demand with 20% of the customers choosing this version. The Honda Amaze has been a flagship model of Honda and made up for up to 52% of the total sales of the company in FY19-20. In the Indian auto market, the Honda Amaze competes against the Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo, Ford Aspire, Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
