Honda Civic is due to launch on Marth 7. But now, the vehicles from the first batch have started reaching the dealership’s yards. View the details of the new Honda Civic 2019 as revealed by the latest spy images.

It is only weeks until the launch of the 2019 Honda Civic in India. The official price is not unveiled but it is expected to range from 17 lakh to 23 lakh. The premium sedan will be offered in three variants, namely, V, VX and ZX. Recently, the entry-level V and mid-range VX have been spotted at a dealership yard.

The spy shots lend us a glimpse into how the next-Civic will look like on its base and middle range. Some details of the interior are also revealed. Lately, the Civic 2019 is known to come with some cosmetic updates including the headlamps, new wheels and sunroof. However, from the spy shots, the lower variants are going to miss out on some upmarket touch promised for the top-spec ZX.

Unlike the LED headlight on the ZX, the V and VX grade will only get a projector headlight. What’s more, the ZX will be equipped with larger wheels than the 16-inch wheels on the V and VX. Besides, the standard variant will also skip on the chrome garnish on door handles. Sunroof will be a top-spec-exclusive feature and not be available on the V and VX. More details on variant-wise offer will be revealed near the launch date.

Interiorly, the low-end and mid-range trims will also drop driver-side airbag and electrically adjustable driver seat. The mid-level VX will be a step ahead with the bonus features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit supported by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It also gets the voice control function and cruise control. On the other hand, the standard V only gets a normal 5-inch digital display infotainment unit.

Under the hood, Honda City stays unchanged. The old 1.8-litre petrol and 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine options will be put forward on this version. The former could generate 138bhp and 174 Nm and comes with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

The facelift upgrade on India market will closely reflect the recent mid-life update on the international-spec Civic.
