The best-selling SUV, Hyundai Creta, will come to its second generation in 2020. Newest images of Creta doing road test are revealed.

At the moment, Hyundai Creta has almost no rival in the segment. And there is hardly anything wrong with the recent style and package, however, updates are needed in the upcoming year in order to make sure they remain appealing in such a competitive and fast-moving segment. The generation update is due to arrive in 2020, two years after the mid-life updates previously in 2018. The 2020 Hyundai Creta is spied in China, and here is the detail report on the second-generation Creta.

From the spy images, Hyundai Creta seems to gain growth in size. The new version sports a higher and more pronounced bonnet up on the front. And Hyundai will adopt their new design language deployed on the Kona to the new-gen Creta. It means that the cascading grille will get larger and more dominant while daytime running lamps is relocated and will sit aligned with the bonnet line.

In terms of engine, the Creta will be given 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine. These units will be replaced the existing 1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre diesel engine along with 1.6-litre diesel engine.
