Hyundai sells a total of 7,207 units of new Creta in June, while also receiving 14,825 bookings for the mid-size SUV. Thus, coming up as the second best-selling SUV in the country.

Hyundai’s new Creta has been making its way to the headlines with its progress on the sales charts. The mid-size SUV was the best-selling car of the country in May with 3,212 units sold. However, the sales figures for the month of June are out and they reveal a similar story. Hyundai sold a total of 7,207 units of Creta, making it the second highest-selling car in the country. It also leapt ahead of the Kia Seltos, from which it borrows its underpinnings and powertrain options. The gap isn’t too wide though, as Kia sold 7,114 copies of the Seltos last month. The difference between the two is even lesser than 100 units.

Transmission options available with this oil burner are a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT.  The last option of the package is the 1.4L turbo-petrol motor that generates a peak power output of 140 PS and max torque of 242 Nm. However, it is only available with a 7-speed DCT.
