According to our sources, the next-gen Hyundai Creta has already racked up 12,000 pre-bookings ahead of its launch.

Hyundai Motor India had recently reported that the new generation Creta had managed to garner upwards of 10,000 pre-bookings within just ten days of the commencement of the same. Now, our sources tell us that the South Korean manufacturer has received over 12,000 bookings to date. With the car’s launch still two days away, this is an incredible achievement for the company.

Next-gen Hyundai Creta has received over 12,000 pre-bookings

With the current sales slump in the Indian automobile market, it is impressive to see a few car manufacturers defy expectations and enjoy success. Kia, Hyundai’s sister company, has also had brilliant success in our country, first with the Seltos SUV and then later with the Carnival MPV. In fact, the new Creta borrows a lot from the Seltos, including the platform, engines, and transmissions. That said, Hyundai hasn’t quite been able to replicate the same success as the Kia SUV, back when it was launched. The Seltos has managed to garner over 6,000 bookings the day it commenced! Still, the Creta has had a brilliant start well before its launch, and Hyundai is positive that its new SUV will be a huge success, maybe regain its crown as the best-selling SUV in India back from the Seltos.
