Hyundai Creta Available With Nearly INR 1 Lakh Discount

Generous discounts and benefits are being offered on Hyundai Creta in the 2019 festive season.

The popular Hyundai Creta is now offered with large discounts and benefits in the 2019 festive season which is valid till the end of this month. Accordingly, both petrol and diesel versions of the Hyundai Creta are available with benefits of up to INR 80,000, a one-year extended warranty and roadside assistance. This means that the total discounts and benefits amount to nearly INR 1 lakh.

Although the Hyundai Creta has been one of the most best-selling midsize SUVs in India, newcomers to the segment like the Kia Seltos have had negative impacts on the Hyundai SUV’s popularity, leading to a gradual decrease in the latter’s sales number each month. The Hyundai Creta recorded a sales number of 8,334 units In June 2019; 6,585 units in July and 6,001 units in August.

The Hyundai Creta is being offered with massive discounts this month.

The Hyundai Creta started to go on sale in India four years ago. The Indian second largest auto manufacturer is also making every endeavor to regularly update its SUV with the latest facelift introduced in May last year. The new-gen Creta is expected to be launched in India next year.

The Hyundai Creta is a well-equipped SUV, particularly in the top-spec variant. It is also available with various motor and transmission options. The first one is a 1.6-litre gasoline burner which can deliver 123 BHP against 151 Nm and is coupled with a 6-speed MT or AT unit. The second one is a 1.4-litre oil burner which can generate 90 BHP against 224 Nm and is mated to only a 6-speed manual transmission. The last one is a 1.6-litre diesel motor which can churn out 128 BHP against 265 Nm and is paired with 6-speed MT and AT units.

The Hyundai Creta is currently priced from INR 9.99 lakh to INR 15.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In the Indian auto market, it compete against the abovementioned Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Renault Captur.
