Hyundai launched the Grand i10 Nios last year. While the Nios has been available ever since, the carmaker did not pull the plug on the production of the older Grand i10. The car is still on sale and starts at Rs. 5.86 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). In comparison to the Nios, the older Grand i10 is offered in just 2 variants, namely Magna and Sportz. Therefore, it offers a lot more features than the similarly priced variants of the Nios. However, to sweeten the deal even further, Hyundai is currently offering discounts of up to Rs 60,000 on the Grand i10. It comprises of a cash benefit of Rs. 40,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000, and a corporate bonus of Rs. 5,000.
Apart from this discount, Hyundai is also offering 5 different financing schemes to encourage buyers to purchase cars in these tough times. The carmaker is offering longer loan tenure of up to 8 years along with a low rate of interest. The option of EMI holiday in case of employment loss is also on offer. And flexible EMI options are also part of the schemes.
Hyundai Grand i10 is offered with a 1.2L Kappa engine. This 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol motor is capable of producing a peak power output of 83 PS and rated torque of 113 Nm. To send the power to the front wheels, it uses a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of dimensions, the Grand i10 measures at 3,765 mm in length, 1,660 mm in width, and 1,520 mm height.
Hyundai offers Grand i10 in 4 colour options, namely Polar White, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, and Typhoon Silver. It also boasts of a fairly-long feature list. It comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, steering mounted audio controls, electronically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, keyless entry with push-button start, tilt adjust for the steering wheel and more. The Grand i10 also comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt with pre-tensioners, high-speed alerts, impact sensing door unlock, and front seat belt warning as standard fitment across the range.
