Earlier, Europe-spec Hyundai Grand i10 Nios N Line was introduced. Recently, this model was spotted with heavy camouflage in India, hinting at an imminent launch.
Earlier this month, at the Frankfurt Motorshow, Hyundai has taken the wrap off the N line variant of the Hyundai Grand i10. The new model will go on sale in Europe first. On the other hand, Hyundai has just launched the new-gen Grand i10 under the name Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. It is expected that the N Line of the i10 will be brought to India under a new name – Hyundai Grand i10 Nios N Line.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios N Line will be the first N Line variant to launch in India
The i10 N Line is the fourth model of the N Line on Hyundai’s international line-up, after the i30 N Line, i30 Fastback N Line and the Tucson N Line. Currently in India, Hyundai has not launched any of these performance-enhanced models. If the Nios N Line makes it to the Indian shore, it will be the first one of the N Line family to set foot in India.
The sporty Hyundai Grand i10 N Line will come with not only new cosmetic updates but also changes under the hood. To enhance the performance, the i10 N line is powered by a new 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that makes a maximum power of 120 PS. This engine is used on the sub-four-meter Hyundai Venue. With this engine, Hyundai i10 Nios N Line will be the most powerful hatchback in India. While on the regular version, the i10 Nios employs either a 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 1.2-litre diesel engine. These engines are paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Other than the powertrain, the Grand i10 N Line is designed with some new updates for the handling and suspension in order to deliver a sportier performance.

Recently, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is spotted on Indian road with full camouflage. The design of the Grand i10 N Line takes inspiration from the Kia Picanto GT. In Europe, the N Line of this hatchback features a black front grille, LED DRLs and a dual exhaust system. It is expected that these details will be used on the Indian-spec version. With all these updates, it is likely that the Hyundai Grand i10 N Line will be priced around 9 lakh. It will come in one single variant. Visit IndiauAuto.com for more news and updates about cars.
