Hyundai has introduced a wide range of measurements to protect the health of its employees and customers. Hyundai released a video giving the details of the safety measurements.

Hyundai has introduced a new set of safety and hygiene standards across its showrooms and service points in India.

Since the national lockdown is gradually being relaxed, car brands including Hyundai have started reopening their network of showrooms and service centres. In order to protect the health of customers and employees, Hyundai has introduced new buying and servicing procedures which will be applied across all touchpoints of the South Korean car manufacturer in India.

In the pandemic era, customers are encouraged to do online shopping. Hyundai also encourages its car buyers to actively participating in online activities. For example, customers are advised to book a service appointment via Hyundai’s online platform. Also, online payment and purchase are highly recommended. Along with that, in order to minimize the contacts between the buyers and Hyundai’s employees, the car brand has introduced pickup and drop service. Additionally, the car will be sanitized after it was picked up and before it was delivered to customers' designated places.

Hyundai provides Pick and Drop services, allowing the customers to enjoy the comfort of staying at home 

At Hyundai’s showrooms, all the staffs are trained and required to strictly follow the safety standard. Social distance norms will be retained throughout all the activities at Hyundai’s showrooms and other facilities. All of Hyundai’s employees will be regularly screened with thermometers. 

In addition to the new hygiene and safety protocols, Hyundai also offers support for the government in the fight against the spreading pandemic. The special service camp runs from 20th to 31st May. During this camp, various services will be offered as a gesture of gratitude to all the health care workers as well as the police and government official who are working on the frontline against the pandemic. Under this programme, people of these professions will be given benefits like priority service, AC check, top wash, sanitization service for high touchpoints. Besides, they will get discount benefits for services like cabin sanitization, air purifier purchase, roadside assistance as well as extended warranty. Especially, Hyundai also offers discounts for people working in medical fields when they buy cars from Hyundai.
