Hyundai Palisade Facelift Spied with Heavy Camouflage

Some current reports suggested that the Hyundai might bring the full-size SUV Palisade to the India shore. It is reported that the South Korean car manufacturer is working on a right-hand-drive version of this big SUV. Lately, a new report reveals that the updated Hyundai Palisade is already under development. The new version of the Hyundai Palisade was seen under heavy camouflage in South Korea.

As per the spy images, the Hyundai Palisade does not come with any notable changes. On the front end, the spied Palisade remains unchanged with the old grille and headlamps. However, supposedly, the camouflaged vehicle is just a prototype at an earlier stage of development. It is expected that Hyundai might integrate some design cues of the Santa Fe or the Grandeur on the new Palisade. In addition, chances are Hyundai will introduce a right-hand-drive and hybrid version with the new update.

As for the feature front, the facelift Hyundai Palisade is likely to carry forward a few new safety techs along with the new infotainment system from the Genesis GV80 and the Grandeur.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Palisade is currently available with two petrol engine options and one diesel engine. The two petrol engines include a 3.5-litre V6 and a 3.8-litre V6 unit which churns out the top power of 277 Bhp and 295 Bhp respectively. The 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine makes a maximum torque of 200 Bhp and top power of 440 Nm. This engine is also powering the Kia Carnival. On the other hand, the details of the Hyundai Palisade facelift is scarce at the moment.

Lately, Hyundai has introduced the Calligraphy trim of the Palisade for the South Korean and US market. The newly-introduced variants receive some upmarket features for the interior.

The new-gen hatchback will arrive with comprehensive exterior and interior updates along with a new range of powertrain options.
