Hyundai Santro 2018 Debuts On The Top 10 Best-selling Cars In India

Hyundai puts a lot of hope into the reintroduction of the once popular hatchback Santro. And they seem to have their work paid off as the all-new Santro has received 25,000 booking before launch. At the affordable price of Rs 3.89 and with a long list of comfort features, there is no wonder why the Santro will become the next hit in India.

Last month, September, Maruti Suzuki Swift tops on the chart of best-selling cars with 22,228 unit sold in one month. For the Santro, its booking is opened in early this month. With 25,000 booking within one month, the Santro will have a good chance to enter the top 10 best-selling cars and even beat Maruti Swift to the number one position. It seems that the plan to boost their sales in the hatchback segment has gone quite well.

The top selling cars chart has been dominated by Maruti with six out of first ten position belongs to Maruti, including Maruti Swift, Alto, Dzire, Baleno, Wagon R and Brezza. Hyundai also appears on the top ten with Hyundai i20, Grand i10, SUV Creta. And with the new Santro, Hyundai will expand their influence in the sale chart.

About the new Hyundai Santro, it has a complete new look along with a revamped engine under the hood. Moreover, it brings out some of the first-in-the-segment features, for example, 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Compatibility, rear AC vent, rear parking sensors with a reverse camera.

Hyundai Santro might even snap the number one position of the Maruti Swift in the October sales chart
