Hyundai Santro Bookings Hit 35,000 of booking

Since it first launched on 23rd October, the Hyundai Santro has received a good initial response from the market. This reflects that Hyundai Santro witnesses a high robust demand from the customers. To call for the customers’ attention, the automaker had planned to open the pre-booking nearly fifteen days ahead of the official launching date. The only booking was available from 10th October while the launching was taken place on 23rd October.

This is also the first time for Hyundai to add the AMT option in Santro into the car production profile. Surprisingly, AMT option has nailed a high mark which is over 25% of the overall bookings. As per report, Hyundai Santro gets over 35,000 of bookings, in which, 10,000 are for AMT variant, 17,000 are for the manual variant, and 8,000 are for the CNG version.

These numbers of booking speak clearly the customers’ preference which now is shifting towards the convenience and paying attention more on the crawling city traffic scenes. Besides, there is a high demand in terms of the CNG versions. It could be explained by the fact that the petrol prices in increasing in the recent time and the demand from some of the taxi operators. 

The manual variant has received the highest number of booking which is 17,000 bookings

As for the variants, the petrol-manual combination will be offered in 5 trim levels while the CNG & petrol-AMT combinations are available in 2 trim options each.

Hyundai has recently announced to restrict their introductory price of the Santro for the first 50,000 bookings only. As a result, the prices are set to be revised in the upcoming days.
