Hyundai Venue Attracts Thousands Of Car Buyers On Its First Day Of Sales

Hyundai showrooms have attracted a deluge of car buyers who want to check out the Hyundai Venue, the first truly connected SUV in India.

Hyundai has just launched their much-awaited sub-compact SUV on 23rd May. The new car has received an overwhelmingly positive responses from the customers. On the opening day, people are flooding into Hyundai’s showrooms across the country to the witness so-called India’s first fully connected SUV – Hyundai Venue. One month after booking openned, Hyundai Venue has amassed over 17,000 bookings along with 80,000 purchase interest. With all the positive signals from the market, it would come as no surprise if Hyundai will take the top spots on this month-end sales chart.

Hyundai Venue is launched at the price of Rs. 6.50 lakh

Hyundai Venue starts at Rs 6.50 lakh and could go up to Rs 11.10 lakh. It will pit against the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Ahead of its launch, Hyundai has set the goal to reach the monthly sales of around 8,000-10,000 units. With such a great beginning, achieving 8,000 units sold each month is not out of reach. It is also predictable that the Hyundai Venue will soon defeat Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 or even threaten the class-leading Maruti Brezza.

Thanks to the promising high-tech connectivity features, Hyundai Venue could have a flying start. Equipped with Hyundai’s latest connectivity system, BlueLink, Hyundai Venue could provide easy and effortless connection to the car system via smartphone. Besides, it also comes with driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert, and ISOFIX child seat.

Under the hood, Hyundai Venue will be powered by either 1.2-litre petrol engine (83 PS and 115 Nm), 1.4-litre diesel powertrain (90 PS and 220 Nm), and a 1.0-litre Kappa T-GDI petrol engine (120 PS and 172 Nm). 1.2-litre petrol engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The only diesel engine shares 6-speed manual gearbox with the 1.0-litre Kappa engine. Besides the manual option, the 1.0-litre petrol is also available with an optional 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
