Hyundai Venue bookings commenced at Rs 21,000

The Hyundai has commenced the bookings of Venue and the SUV will get launched in India by 21st May, 2019.

Hyundai Venue will launch on May 21 and will rival the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.

Hyundai India has started taking booking of their first sub-compact SUV for India, the Venue. You can easily book the Hyundai SUV at a token amount of Rs 21,000 from your nearest Hyundai dealership. The official launch date of the upcoming Hyundai Venue is the 21st of May, 2019. The Hyundai Venue is expected to get priced between Rs. 7.5 lakhs and Rs. 11 lakhs. Moreover, the SUV will compete against the likes of Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra XUV300. The company expects to sell over 10,000 units of Venue every month in India.

The Hyundai Venue will become the first connected SUV of the country.

The Hyundai Venue comes with some segment first features like projector foglamps, BlueLink eSIM connectivity, wireless charger, air curtain for the wheels to reduce the drag, air purifier and HD infotainment system. Moreover, it also employs a sunroof, cruise control, cooled glovebox and cornering lamps. The Bluelink connectivity system is also a segment first feature which provides functions like vehicle theft notification, live location, geo-fencing, PDI and vehicle updates.

The SUV also offers Bluelink connectivity option by which an owner can track his car, turn the engine off and can locate his vehicle these features are much needed in a country like India. And an owner can control all these functions remotely with the help of his smartphone. Moreover, the SUV will be offered with 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty and the 3-year roadside assistance.

The Hyundai Venue will be offered with three different powertrains. The petrol engine will come in two states of tune. The first one is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which develops 83 Ps of power and 114Nm of torque. The 1.4-litre engine is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. For performance freaks, the Venue will also employ a 1.1-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor which cranks out 120 Ps of power and peak torque of 171 Nm. The engine will come paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 6-speed MT. The SUV will also derive power from a 1.4-litre, four-cylinder oil burner which produces 90 Ps of power and 220Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed manual transmission.
