The Hyundai Venue has been on sale for nearly a month, prices ranging from Rs 6.50- 11.10 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).

With exponential demands for the all-new compact SUV, Hyundai has just confirmed that the Venue will have a waiting period soaring to 6-8 weeks, depending upon the specific variants. Until now, the Venue’s newly-built 1.0-litre GDI turbo-petrol engine is the most popular choice among customers. Regarding the engines, the Hyundai Venue employs three engines option under the bonnet- a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic unit, a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor paired with a 5-speed MT along with a 1.4-litre oil burner coupled with a 6-speed MT option.

The diesel motor is the second most popular choice among Venue’s buyers in India and of course, the 1.2-litre petrol turns out to be least popular due to its middling features on offer. Speaking of the variants, the Hyundai Venue’s 1.0-litre petrol MT, dubbed the SX trim appears to be the crowd favourite. Whereas both the S and SX+ trims of the automatic Hyundai Venue are also in great demand.

The range-topping Hyundai Venue is kitted out with a range of high-end creature-comforts including auto climate control, leather seats, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen compatible with Hyundai’s Blue Link and Arkamys audio system, wireless charging, machined alloy wheels, sunroof as well as a suite of essential safety bits.
