Hyundai Venue Gets Dearer - FULL DETAILS

Hyundai has updated the prices of the Hyundai Venue. Accordingly, the Hyundai Venue will cost around Rs 7,000 to Rs 12,000 more, depending on the variants.

Previously, Hyundai India announced the price hike for the Hyundai Verna. Following Verna’s price updates, Hyundai’s top-selling SUV Venue is the next model to get more expensive.

According to the latest price changes, the Hyundai Venue petrol will be pricier by Rs 12,000. Hyundai Venue diesel, on the other hand, gets a price hike of Rs 7,000 across the trims. It means that the Hyundai Venue petrol is now available from Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 11.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai Venue diesel is offered from Rs 8.17 lakh to Rs 11.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

At the moment, Hyundai Venue’s entry-level model is more expensive than its arch-rival – Kia Sonet – by Rs 4,000. However, the top-spec Venue variants are still more affordable than high-spec Sonet variants. With more features and techs, the top-spec Kia Sonet costs around 1.25 lakh more than the Hyundai Venue’s top-of-the-line model. The Sonet was launched just earlier this month with the price ranging from Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Along with the price changes, Hyundai also crossed out the dual-tone options for the SX and SX (O) trims.  Compared to the regular version, the Sport variants are added with some special cosmetic treatments like red exterior accents and dual-tone interior colour.

Before the festive season starts, Hyundai has introduced the price hike for the Venue 

Hyundai Venue is available with three choices of engines, two petrol engine and one diesel unit. The most powerful engine is the 1.0-litre turbo GDI petrol engine which generates a top power of 120 PS and a top torque of 172 Nm. There are three transmission options for the turbo engine, which includes 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT. Mated to a 5-speed manual, the 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol unit is capable of making 83PS and 115Nm.

The only diesel engine is a 1.5-litre oil burner with 100 PS maximum power and 240 Nm top torque. This engine is available with 6-speed manual gearbox. Kia Sonet is offered with similar powertrain options except for the turbo-manual and diesel-automatic gearbox.
