With the starting price of Rs 15.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Jeep Compass is one of the most popular models of the American brand in India that achieved a sales success of average 2,200 units every month last year. However, it is currently no longer a tiny difference that the monthly sales figures of the Compass SUV drop by 53% with 1150 units sold in October 2018. So what are the main causes of the aggravated sales for the Jeep Compass?

On the other hand, a lot of other car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Hyundai, Tata Motors etc. release scores of new and outstanding vehicles with attractive prices each year that “steal” a great number of customers from the Jeep Compass.

It is undeniable that Jeep Compass is a good SUV but the American manufacturer, in the long term, should make further steps to offer better choices for the Indians to take a serious part in the progressively aggressive competition.
