The India-spec Jeep Compass which is scheduled to hit the Indian roads within days to come is likely to get diesel auto only with the expected price of Rs 25 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
These days, the American automaker has started testing the new Jeep Compass Trailhawk SUV on the Indian roads to enhance the level of adaptation to the country’s topographies and weather conditions. The launch date of the SUV has been pushed back from earlier this year to the second quarter of 2019 to work intensively on the BS-VI compliant powertrain as stipulated by the Government.

The 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is the first model of the carmaker in India equipped with BS-VI emission norms compliant engine. It is highly likely that the SUV will come available with only diesel-automatic option along with a 9-speed transmission in the domestic country.

Inside the cabin, the upcoming Jeep SUV is likely to pack with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system together with a panoramic sunroof that is similar to the Compass Limited Plus sibling. The 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk might be positioned at the top of the Compass range which consists of the Limited, Limited (O), Limited Plus, Compass Sport and the Latitude Variants. The introductory price of the much-awaited Compass Trailhawk will be around Rs 25 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
