Jeep Renegade To Arrive in India Next Year

Jeep has met with pretty high success in the Indian market with its Jeep Compass. With total sales of 25,000 units in its first year in the market, Jeep Compass is a real game-changer for the American manufacturer. However, after the initial fire has died out, the Compass has started to lose out to other newer models. It is of significant importance for Jeep to stabilize their sales performance. And instead of investing in refreshing Compass with new variants or edition, Jeep India chooses to try their luck by introducing a compact SUV vehicle in the form of the Renegade.

Jeep Renegade is a best-selling model in the international market and stands a high chance to get a positive response from Indian customers. That said, the current Renegade on the global stage is ageing without updating for five years. So, supposedly, the Renegade is in need of cosmetic and mechanical upgrading as well as a certain level of localization in order to adapt to the new market.

These models might be in the far future, but for the moment, we could totally look forward to the Jeep Renegade, Jeep’s smallest SUVs, to arrive our shore, possibly by early next year.

The Renegade is well-known for its excellent off-roading capacity. This SUV also promises to bring in a fresh option to the current premium SUV segment. Jeep Renegade might undercut the Compass and is expected to be priced from Rs 10 to 16 lakh.
