The Korean car manufacturer Kia will launch the Carnival MPV into the Indian market at 2020 Auto Expo, which will start from 5th February. A new report emerges online suggest that Kia will offer Carnival in three different trims. Kia is in the highlights from some time now, and it was snapped during its final testing recently. Moreover, many dealerships have now started accepting booking for the Carnival MPV.

A new report emerges online suggest that Kia will offer Carnival in four different trims

Many of you may know that the Carnival will be available in the market in various seating configurations which will cater to a huge variety of people. The report suggests that the base variant of Kia Carnival will accommodate 9-passengers at once. Above variant will be offered in 8-seater configuration. The remaining trims are going to be top-spec variants, which are more comfort-oriented, and they only meant for 7-passengers. These variants will be quite expensive and are expected to cross the price mark of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Carnival will be available in the market in various seating configurations which will cater to a huge variety of people

The top-spec seven-seater Kia Carnival MPV will feature Nappa leather upholstery, rear-seat entertainment package which consists of two 10.1-inch screens for the middle-row, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-pane sunroof, keyless entry, electronic tailgate, wireless charging, ventilated driver’s seat, power-adjustable front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and three-zone climate control. The Kia Carnival will get propelled by a 2.2-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder, diesel engine that produces 202 PS of power and 441 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be performed by an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Internationally, the same job is done by a 6-speed manual transmission. Once launched, the Kia Carnival will directly compete with the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta.
