Check Out Action-packed TVC of Kia Seltos Starring Tiger Shroff Is Out

Yesterday, Kia Motor has launched the Kia Seltos at a starting price of Rs 9.7 lakh. The price of top-end variant goes up to Rs 16 lakh. With its first launch in the Indian market, Kia has made a big investment in the promotion for its first model. Recruited Tiger Shroff as its ambassador, Kia Motor has recently released its Kia Seltos TVC that stars the famous Bollywood actor.

Titled #BadassByDesign, the new TVC is laden with the electrifying action scenes. The promo video rises to the climax when Tiger Shroff jumps off the plan, reaches for the nosediving Kia Seltos and gets into the cabin of the car. The highlight of the TVC is when Kia Seltos is free-falling with a parachute inflated out of its sunroof. Within one day after release, the promo video has amassed more than 15 million views, which is a good signal from the audience.

The TVC shows the spirit and ambition of Kia Motor with its first launch. Kookhyun Shim, MD and CEO, Kia Motor India also said that Kia Seltos is “one of the most ambitious projects for Kia Motors.” He proceeds to point out some key qualities of the Kia Seltos, which are “premium features, distinctive design, supreme quality, refined and powerful engine options, addictive performance.”

Shortly after commencing booking for the Seltos, Kia Motor India has received more than 32,000 orders from the Indian customers. Previously, MG Motor, also a new carmaker in the market, has to temporarily halt the booking for its Hector model due to the unexpectedly high demand. Kia, on the contrary, guarantees that there will be a sufficient supply for interested customers. With its Anantapur-based facility, Kia Motor has the annual manufacturing capacity of 3 lakh units. Currently, Kia has already had 5,000 units of the Seltos on stock, ready to be delivered to the customers.

Right from the beginning, Kia Seltos comes with a BSVI-compliant powertrain range. There are three engines available, a 1.4 turbo petrol, 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. Each engine option will come with both manual and automatic gearbox. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol is paired to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT white the 1.5-litre petrol gets two gearbox options,a  6-speed manual and a IVT.
