Kia Sonet GT Line Spied Without Camouflage At Dealership Stockyard

Although many excellent cars are ready to be launched or showcased in India in 2020, the Kia Sonet has been in the spotlight for the past few months. Borrowing the platform from the Hyundai  Venue, the Sonet, once launched, will enter the sub-four-metre compact SUV and become the cheapest offering of the South Korean automaker for the Indian auto market. Following the success of the Kia Seltos, the Sonet is expected to become one of the most popular compact SUVs of the Indian auto customers. Many auto enthusiasts have paid attention to the spy shots of the car prior to its official launch. Thanks to Kia Sonet Club India on Facebook, new images of the Kia Sonet GT Line at a dealership stockyard have been released, which shows the vehicle inside out.

The car is the Kia Sonet GT Line, which comes with the Beige Gold paint scheme. The bold and modern styling helps the Kia Sonet GT Line look quite unique. The front of the vehicle is designed in a harmonious way with Kia’s typical design philosophy combined with the inspiration from the Indian culture. The signature tiger-nose grille comes with red inserts inspired by Indian stepwells and a bezel which looks like elephant’s tusks. Other outstanding features include heartbeat LED DRLs, one-piece and ice-cube fog lights, 16-inch crystal cut alloy rims, wrap-around rear windshield and LED heartbeat-styled taillights.

The Kia Sonet GT Line gets an equally attractive cabin which comes harmoniously with the exterior. The vehicle is equipped with a wide range of top-notch features; some of the most outstanding ones include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, UVO connected application with 57 connected features, UVO connected apps, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 7-speaker Bose sound system and wireless charging.

The Kia Sonet receives its power from a wide range of engine options: an 82 BHP/115 NM 1.2-litre NA gasoline burner, a 119 BHP/172 Nm 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit and a 99 BHP/240 Nm 1.5-litre turbo oil burner. In the meanwhile, the transmission options consist of a 5-speed MT, a 6-speed MT, a 6-speed clutchless manual, a 6-speed AT and a 7-speed DCT.
