A majority of Kia Sonet’s sales come from the accumulated pre-orders. As soon the official prices were released, the deliveries commenced. The initial receipt is astounding. However, we will have to wait to see if the Kia Sonet can keep the momentum going in the following months.

Commenting on the initial success of the Kia Sonet, Mr Kookhyun Shim, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Kia Motors India said,

“The Sonet embodies Kia’s philosophy of ‘The Power to Surprise’ and that has shown resonance in the marketplace, as seen in the overwhelming response it has received from Indian customers.”

The managing director also shows his confidence in Kia Motor’s current line-up with “industry-leading products” like Kia Seltos and Kia Carnival and expects that the company can keep this positive momentum.
