Kia has established the first dealership in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Its inauguration was implemented by MD and CEO of Kia Motors India, Mr Kookhyum.

The South Korean auto manufacturer has cooperated with Allied Motors, a company with 75-year-old working experience in the automotive field to open its first showroom in India. The Noida dealership takes its design inspiration from the “Red Cube” philosophy of Kia. The concept has been developed as a way to promote the company’s prestige and make the dealership stand out from the grey city sights in Noida caused by air pollution.

The first vehicle to be launched in the country by Kia will be the SP2i SUV, the production model of the SP2 concept displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo, which is expected to take place in late 2019. The forthcoming SUV will be underpinned by the same platform as the next-gen Hyundai Creta. However, the exterior design will be borrowed from the SP2 concept with a signature ‘Tiger Nose’ grille of Kia, split headlamps, biggest-in-the-segment 18-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights. The cabin will be inspired by many other Kia products with such features as a touchscreen infotainment unit, temperature control and autocruise.
