The Mercedes's driver, Lewis Hamilton has claimed the 10th victory in his championship-winning record right ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

Despite starting from the pole position, Lewis did not keep the stable capability when he let Verstappen overtake the race leader on the lap 39 of 71. Verstappen made clear moves in his fresh tyres and almost achieved the F1 victory by his excellent performance in the Interlagos circuit.

However, the unexpected incident occurred five laps later that totally changed the course of the race. The collision of Max Verstappen and Esteban Ocon in lap 43 drove the leader into a spin when the Force India’s Ocon was attempting to unlap himself. Verstappen dropped to the second position while Lewis Hamilton overtook the leader place then won nail-biting the Brazillian Grand Prix.

Ocon was handed a 10-sec penalty for causing the collision while Verstappen must take part in 2-days public service at the direction of the FIA for his post-race furious altercation with the Force India driver.

The Dutchman responded distraughtly in the post-race interviews:

“I don’t really have a lot to comment on that, except that he was being a pussy.”

The Force India driver, Esteban Ocon spoke to the Sky Sports about the bad-tempered actions of Max Verstappen:

“What I am really surprised about is the behaviour of Max coming into the scales. The FIA having to stop him from being violent, pushing me and wanted to punch me- and that is not professional.”
