Mahindra Bolero is the top-selling SUV in the automakers stable. Last month, the carmaker sold 6,055 units of the SUV.

Mahindra & Mahindra is popular among the buyers around India for offering capable SUVs. One of their most popular and best-selling SUV is Mahindra Bolero. It’s quite shocking to see how Bolero is attracting the buyers from around the country, and the biggest reason behind its popularity is Bolero’s capabilities and affordable price tag. Last month, the carmaker retailed 6,055 units of Bolero and 4,458 units of XUV300. One can see that the demand of Mahindra Bolero is pretty high compared to their feature-loaded sub-4-meter SUV. Mahindra Bolero best-selling SUV is popular in urban as well as rural areas of the country.

The main reason behind buyers purchasing the Mahindra SUV is to get a rugged and a multi-purpose UV. People who buy the SUV use it on and off-road because of its capabilities of countering bad terrains. Moreover, it is also quite popular among the modifiers as they customize it as per their preference to make it look butch. A few months back, the carmaker introduced the new facelift model of the SUV, which employs subtle cosmetic and feature updates. The Mahindra SUV gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base B4 trim and goes all the way up to Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec B6(O) variant.

As compared to the previous BS4 model of the SUV, the 2020 version of the best selling Bolero SUV is Rs 70,000 costlier. Most of the cosmetic changes have been made on the front fascia of the car. The new Mahindra Bolero gets an updated grille, revised headlights and a reshaped bumper. The SUV also complies with the new crash-test norms that were implemented in late 2019. As mentioned above, the SUV is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre three-pot diesel unit that comes paired with a 5-speed MT. The car is offered with a rear-wheel-drive system. In terms of dimensions, Mahindra Bolero is 3995mm long, 1745mm wide, 1880mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2680mm.
