Mahindra Marazzo 8-Seater Launched At Rs 13.98 Lakh

The celebrated home-grown automaker, Mahindra& Mahindra has already introduced a new 8-seater version of the range-topping Mahindra Marazzo codenamed Marazzo M8 in the Indian auto market. The spacious star is made available in the country at Rs 13.98 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Aware of the higher needs of the modern Indian gearheads in the family vehicle segment, Mahindra has made a massive upgrade on the commendable Mahindra Marazzo in terms of mechanics, design and features as well.

The Mahindra Marazzo M8 Variant is currently available with 8-seater configuration

Being the high-end variant, the 8-seater Marazzo MPV comes with all inevitable accessories required in its range. In comparison with seven-seater configuration, the top-spec M8 variant is packed with a more feature-rich exterior and interior in essence. On the outside, the larger MPV takes the design cues of the seven-seater version with the addition of a highlighted LED Daytime Running Lights, a newly-designed 17-inch alloy wheels and reverse parking camera. If the exterior of the premium Marazzo does not impress you much, its feature-rich interior will absolutely fasten your heartbeat. Under the bonnet, the Mahindra Marazzo M8 gets the power from a newly developed 1.5-litre diesel burner tuned for 121 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. The engine will send its power output to the front wheels of the MPV via a 6-speed manual transmission. The all-new Marazzo holds a decent ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 17.6 km/l. A turbocharged gasoline engine variant is also slated to be introduced in 2020 after an AMT option for the diesel motor is likely to come in the coming time.

As far as the Marazzo’s concerned, it is the first “Made-in-India” MPV to be rated 4 stars at the G-NCAP safety norms. Launched back in the Indian market in September 2018, the Mahindra Marazzo was priced at Rs 9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With Rs 8.000 more than the seven-seater, the Marazzo M8 will rival the likes of 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian auto space.

Mahindra is now in a hurry to prepare for the arrival of the compact SUV- Mahindra XUV 300. The much-awaited vehicle is all set to be launched on February 15 of 2019 and competes against the fierce rivals- Maruti Vitara Brezza or Hyundai Creta in India. Mahindra has already commenced the pre-bookings for the all-new Mahindra XUV 300 with a token amount of Rs 20.000.
