Mahindra TUV300 and TUV300 Plus Facelift To Launch Soon

Mahindra TUV300 and TUV300 Plus about to get a facelift. The facelift versions are expected to enter the market sometime in early 2021.

After the success of the new-gen Mahindra Thar, the homegrown car manufacturer is now ready to roll out its next new cars. Some of the upcoming models from Mahindra are the next-gen Scorpio and the XUV500. In addition, Mahindra will also introduce the TUV300 and TUV300 Plus facelift. Both of these models have been spotted during testing for some occasions.

The exact launch date of the new TUV300 and TUV300 Plus is not yet revealed. However, it is believed that these models will make it to the Indian market in early 2021. From the spy images, we have noticed some subtle updates on the front end. Mahindra TUV300 facelift gets a redesigned front grille with honeycomb mesh pattern while keeping the same six vertical slat design. The bumper is also revised. The LED daytime running lights are relocated to the top of the edges.

Nevertheless, the rest of the design remains unchanged. On the rear end, Mahindra TUV300 continues to sport a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. For the side profile, the spy picture suggests that the facelift models will feature the same five-twin-spoke alloy wheels offered on the outgoing version.

As for the interior, it is expected that the SUV will keep a similar seating arrangement with side-facing jump seats for the boot space. There might be some minor updates like new upholstery and new finish. About the features, it will continue to come with power window, tilt-adjustable power steering wheel and, climate control with heating function, leatherette upholstery and lumbar support for the front seats.

In terms of safety, the facelift Mahindra XUV300 will come with a host of standard features including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera, seat-belt reminder, and speed alert. Moreover, the touchscreen infotainment touchscreen will be upgraded and double as the display for the rear parking camera. Another update on the Mahindra TUV300 facelift is the BSVI-compliant 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo-diesel which is mated either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Under the BSIV form, the engine is capable of making 100 BHP and 240 Nm.
