Mahindra XUV400 Seven Seater Could Be Launched In 2020

Mahindra has recently announced to launch the three-row seating model for the XUV400 with the similar design language as the XUV300 in 2020.

Mahindra and Mahindra has been working on the Mahindra XUV400 with the three-row arrangement which is set to launch in 2020.

Mahindra XUV seven-seat model will set to be introduced in 2020

To be specific, the upcoming SUV XUV400 will have a quite similar dimension with the SsangYong Tivoli as it is also likely to come with a 4.2-metre length. As for the price, the car will position in the range of Rs. 11-16 lakh. Being known with the codename S202, the new seven-seater of Mahindra will be a slightly more premium alternative to the XUV300.

In terms of performance, the car will take advantage of the outgoing XUV300 engine, which is the most powerful 1.5-litre D15 diesel unit. This motor is also derived from the Marrazzo. The domestic automaker is likely to bring on both of manual and automatic transmission options fro Mahindra XUV400.

In this segment, the SUV will be pitted against the next gen of Hyundai Creta.
