The K12N motor uses one extra injector at every cylinder. Also, it works at a higher compression ratio than the K12M motor. The Baleno is offered with two transmission choices – 5-speed MT and CVT. Moreover, there’s an option of 48-volt mild-hybrid system as well, which improves the low-end grunt and overall fuel efficiency of the Baleno. Prices for the Baleno start at Rs. 5.64 lakh and top out at Rs. 9.03 lakh.
