Maruti is offering lucrative financing scheme under the name of 'Buy Now Pay Later' offer, which includes a longer loan tenure, and an EMI holiday of 2 months.

Therefore, carmakers are coming up with attractive schemes to lure consumers to buy cars. With a similar aim, Maruti Suzuki has also announced of its ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ offer. It is announced under a partnership with Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Limited (CIFCL). Under this coalition, Maruti will provide its prospective buyers with custom financing options.

The new Buy Now Pay Later offer will offer buyers with special benefits. The buyers will be able to get funding for up to 90 per cent value of the on-road price of their car along with increased loan tenure. The carmaker will also offer an added benefit of deferment of EMIs for the first two months to ease out the financial burden in such troublesome times. Consumers can avail the benefits of this scheme by visiting or contacting the nearest Maruti dealership. This offer is available on select models and on cars bought on or before 30th June 2020.
Speaking on the customer-centric initiative, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki said, “Customers have always been at the heart of Maruti Suzuki’s efforts of making personal mobility accessible. The partnership with Cholamandalam Investment & Finance company Limited will boost convenience by offering customized retail financing to the customers. It is aimed to offer comfort to buyers who may have faced liquidity crunch during the COVID-19 lockdown. I am sure that the “Buy-Now-Pay-Later Offer” will encourage customers towards car purchase without putting immediate extra pressure on their pockets.”

The carmaker has resumed operations at more than 40 per cent of its total dealerships across the nation. As of now, Maruti’s network comprises of 3,086 outlets across 1,964 cities and towns. The carmaker is also offering heavy discount on its product range. To start with, Ignis, Alto 800, and Baleno are offered with a cash discount of Rs. 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. However, these might vary according to the variant you choose. A discount of Rs. 30,000 is applicable on Eeco, S-Presso, WagonR, and Ciaz. While the XL6 is offered with an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000, Swift, Celerio, and Dzire are offered with a total discount of up to Rs. 45,000. Corporate discount is also offered by Maruti and varies between Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 5,000, according to the product you opt for.
