Maruti Ciaz S Showcased At Auto Expo 2020

Auto Expo is about to kick off for the general public, starting from 7^th February. However, ahead of the opening day, we are now blessed with some exclusive glimpse at the hottest cars to be showcased at this huge auto event. Along with the much-anticipated new Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Maruti Futuro E concept car, it is now confirmed that Maruti Ciaz will bring to the brand new Maruti Ciaz S to the Auto Expo this year.

Maruti Ciaz S is now on display at the Auto Expo 2020

Maruti Ciaz S is the sportier version of the ongoing Maruti Ciaz. Currently, Maruti Ciaz is on offered with only four variants, including the Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. With the addition of the S variant as a top-spec trim, the total number will be increased to five. Maruti Ciaz S gets some reworked design elements which boost up the sportiness of the overall design. For example, the rear end of the Ciaz will be added with a playful trunk spoiler, separating it from the traditional sedan look of the recent Ciaz. Apart from the new spoiler, the exterior now flaunts some new black-out elements on the front and rear bumper. On the side profile, the Maruti Ciaz S will feature a set of 16-inch all-black alloy wheels.

Maruti Ciaz S will get a revised interior and exterior

On the inside, the interior of the Maruti Ciaz S comes with an all-black interior. In the meanwhile, the regular Maruti Ciaz, the sedan is only available with a beige colour scheme. The new all-black colour scheme along with silver inserts will introduce a new flashier and sportier and design for the cabin room. In terms of entertainment front, the Maruti Ciaz S will get the latest in-car entertainment system. The Smartplay Studio will allow easy actions like texting, calling, playing music and navigating by controls mounted on steering wheels or voice control function.

Maruti Ciaz S will go on sales soon after the Auto Expo 2020

Apart from these new styling factors, the mechanical parts of the Maruti Ciaz S will remain the same. It will continue to receive power from the same 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system that produces a maximum power of 105 PS and a peak torque 138 Nm. On the standard Ciaz, the transmission options include a 4-speed automatic gearbox as well as a 5-speed manual unit. However, the Maruti Ciaz S only comes with the manual gearbox.
